Born and raised in Iran, I moved to Canada when I was 16 and finished my last two years of high school at a boarding school in Quebec, Canada. For the better or worse, I think of myself as a rational and logical thinker (almost void of feelings when it comes to making decisions, but by no means am I not compassionate) who has an appreciation for the complexities of modern life and social and political reality. I believe most people tend to see everything in black and white whereas my understanding of this world is that almost everything is gray. I hope this outlook will make this blog a fruitful place where I discuss my thoughts on everything from my personal life to politics.
